It has been a joy for our family to thumb through some of Oakdale Park's Directories, Photo Directories and Anniversary Books. As we paged through them we laughed at old hair and clothing styles, were amazed at how people looked when they were younger, and were intrigued by the things that were considered "issues" back then.
Overall we seemed to come away with a sense of family and God's faithfulness to us through it all. He loves us, warts and all, and that is comforting. I hope you find some of the same pleasures from viewing these documents...these little family treasures.
If you have any historical gems of your own to contribute, dust them off and get them to me any time. We'll scan them in and return them to you right away.
