Oakdale’s children, youth and adult education ministries seek to build faith, Christ-likeness and spiritual gifts in the lives of church family members.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
Seeking to help young children “trust and obey” Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Nurseries
Child care for infants up to three years old is offered during worship services and Pit Stop midweek ministries.
Children’s Worship/Kids of the Kingdom
Classes for children 3 years – fourth grade meet during the morning worship service. Children are dismissed to their classes after coming forward for a song and prayer with the pastor.
Jesus’ Friends
A club for children age Pre-K and Kindergarten, meeting Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
Crew
A club for children in grades 1 st – 3 rd, meeting Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM.
Cadets
A club for boys in grades 4 th – 8 th, meeting Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM.
Gems
A club for girls in grades 4 th – 6 th, meeting Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM.
YOUTH MINISTRIES
Seeking to help Middle School and High School teens become faithful followers of Jesus Christ.
Women of Destiny
Girls 7 th – 8 th Grade meet Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00 PM for Bible Study and various activities.
High School
RUFUS Youth Club meets Sundays a 5:00 PM for Bible Study and activities.

Special Events – luncheons, discussions, book studies, hobby nights and other activities designed to build a walk with Christ are offered at various times throughout the church year.

Men’s Activity Club – various activities designed to build a walk with Christ are offered throughout the church year.
Whole Church Special Events
From time to time, the Adult Ministries of Oakdale sponsor special activities and events to meet the spiritual, social and recreational needs of adults. These events are promoted regularly through the church bulletin and at the Information Center. Examples of these events are the annual Church campout, the Church picnic and conferences on various themes related to the Christian Life.
